an unprescindible value

Fidia Farmaceutici S.p.a. is an Italian-based company established in 1946, fully integrated with R&D, manufacturing, marketing and sales divisions.

Corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Abano Terme, on the outskirts of Padova, Northern Italy.

By building up its expertise over the years and by investing in the development of in-house manufacturing, the company is able to provide a complete production process, from the active pharmaceutical ingredient to ready-to-use finished dosage forms, guaranteeing that all steps are overseen with the same scrutiny.

The result is high-quality products, highly competitive prices and increasingly specific know-how.

Fidia's production capacity includes sterile, lyophylized and injectable products, ointments, creams, gels, solid orals and eye-drops. This adds to the excellent credentials Fidia can offer to companies who wish to rationalize their own facilities with commissioned productions.

Moreover, the company's manufacturing operation in Abano Terme is FDA-inspected and approved for medical device manufacturing, thus opening up the United States market to its products.

Environment in site and plants is monitored on a regular basis, both for non viable and viable contaminants (microbiological controls are performed by the Quality Control department). In addition, Fidia is subject to internal and external audit procedures, to ascertain that satisfactory standards are achieved.

Facilities have been designed in compliance with the European and US cGMP requirements (including 21 CFR Part 211, 21 CFR Part 820, EU GMP) for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices
