Fidia celebrates its 75th anniversary: not a destination, but just one leg of a journey that is going faster than ever

Every day we proudly celebrate the foresight and expertise of those who have helped to build the company, and recognize the vision of those who are already shaping the tomorrow’s world

Founded in 1946, Fidia is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a theme of “Ready for the Future”. This momentous occasion is represented by an image of a tree with solid roots, growing and reaching toward the sky.
For us, this anniversary is not a destination, but one leg of a journey that is moving forward at an ever-faster pace.
As with the remarkable history of hyaluronic acid, which Fidia has been developing, producing and marketing since the early 1960s, today we have become world leaders in viscosupplementation, offering effective and diverse solutions, tailored to the needs of doctors and patients in strategic areas such as joint health and skincare, as well as metabolism, gynaecology, neuroscience, ophthalmology, aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine and anti-infectives.

Our real added value is people

“With the tremendous collaboration of our partners,” Carlo Pizzocaro, Chair and CEO of Fidia Farmaceutici, “we strive for innovation and to contribute to the healthcare of the future – a contribution that can be long-lasting and beneficial to the whole of society. Research and development are in our DNA and our real bonus is our workforce of over 1,300 staff, the key that has enabled us to accomplish so many ambitious goals and to continuously grow. And, above all, to always be ready for the future”.
