Fidia Farmaceutici ranked second in Italy in the first edition of the Italy’s Best Employers for Women 2026 survey, promoted by Corriere della Sera and Statista.

The ranking, published within the Il Tempo delle Donne special edition of Corriere, involved over 100,000 independent evaluations collected from current and former female employees of medium-to-large companies across the country. The criteria considered included key aspects such as equal opportunities, career growth potential, parental leave policies, pay equity and workplace diversity.

Fidia Farmaceutici’s position—second overall nationwide—reflects the effectiveness of its corporate policies on inclusion, equity, and talent development. The company stands out for having a workforce composed of 50.3% women, with a significant presence in leadership roles: 39.4% of managerial positions at Fidia are held by women. Additionally, the company demonstrates notable achievements in pay equity, with a gender pay gap of -2.6%, as well as concrete initiatives such as post-maternity coaching and extending paternity leave beyond the legal requirements.

This new recognition adds to an already established path. Last year, Fidia Farmaceutici became the first medium-sized Italian multinational pharmaceutical company to obtain the National Certification for Gender Equality (UNI-PDR 125:2022), issued by Uniter, an Accredia-accredited organization. This year, the company also launched its Manifesto for Inclusive Language, reflecting its commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion not only through words but also through everyday actions and behaviors.

With over 1,700 employees globally, Fidia Farmaceutici reaffirms its commitment to promoting a sustainable growth model that combines competitiveness with social responsibility, placing people at the center of its development strategy.
