TalentLab: Fidia and UniSMART join forces to train the STEM and IT talents of the future

Fidia Farmaceutici hosted the official launch of TalentLab, a new training program developed in collaboration with UniSMART, the University of Padua’s foundation established to promote Technology Transfer and Post-graduate Education.

The program is designed to connect STEM and IT students with the professional world, helping them develop both technical expertise and in-demand soft skills.

During the launch event, participants had the chance to explore the program and its content, which will engage them actively from October to December through classes, job shadowing, and a final project.

“TalentLab is an initiative developed in collaboration with UniSMART to bring recent graduates or junior profiles with IT and STEM backgrounds closer to the Company’s digital transformation processes,” says Gianluca Magnani, Global People & Culture Officer at Fidia Farmaceutici. “It’s a unique opportunity for cross-pollination through job shadowing, in a group experience that promotes collaborative learning and develops communication and interpersonal skills through an immersive path directly within the company.”

A key component of the program is the contribution of the IT department, which plays a strategic role in Fidia’s digital transformation journey. The team will share with participants real-life experiences and projects that serve as tangible examples of innovation within the company.
